Seafood Next is a competence program developed to meet the needs of the industry when it comes to knowledge development. It is an international program for new professionals in the industry.
Seafood Next focuses on sustainable growth and innovation throughout the seafood value chain.
Through the 4-module program you will meet leading actors in the seafood industry, visit fish farms and hatcheries and get insight about the most important mega trends in the industry.
The 4 modules:
Seafood Next is open to anyone who wants to develop their insight about the global seafood industry. Different expertise, education and competence are only an advantage.
It is a one-year program, where you will participate in four three-day modules.
The modules serve as a meeting platform for exchange of experience and you will get to build an important network for your future career in the industry.
In addition to the four physical modules, you will gain access to Blue Planet Academy, a leading digital e-learning platform within aquaculture.

*The program is held in Norwegian if the group exclusively consists of Norwegian-speaking participants.
Administration fee: NOK 10.000
Program fee: NOK 55,000
Partners and members of NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster have the program fee included in the annual membership fee*
Startups and risk capital members have a 50% discount on the program fee.

In addition to the administration and program fees, there are direct costs associated with the four modules, including e.g. hotel, transport, meals, excursions, e-learning, and 5% additional fee for invoicing service.
Estimated NOK 7,000-10,000 per domestic module and somewhat higher for the module abroad, is invoiced after each module.
